On that day 19 terrorists affiliated with the terrorist group Al-Qaeda decided to hijack four commercial airliners and steer them into places of importance in America (two jets crashed into the World Trade Center towers while another struck the Pentagon).

The fourth airliner (United Airlines Flight 93) did not meet with its terrorist destination because brave passengers and members of the flight crew fought them off.

At that time, Americans came together like many in this new generation had never witnessed before in fighting terror.

But now, more than five years later, it seems that we have forgotten that we are in the midst of a war. One with dire consequences if we fail. And back in July of 2005, a story at WorldNetDaily.com tried to remind those of us willing to read it that the War Against Terror is being waged everyday. Further, we may not be as safe from Al-Qaeda and Islamic extremists like Osama bin Laden as we think we are.

To understand the story, though, one needs to know the background.


The Cold War: The Soviet Union versus the United States of America

Back in 2000, a former Soviet spy and defector by the name of Stanislav Lunev testified to a story that blew most Americans' minds. Simply put, back when he was with the Soviets during the height of the Cold War, Lunev had a mission. What was it, you ask?

To find dead drop sites within the United States for Soviet weapons and communications devices. Even more specifically, he said the following in an article on CNN.

I had very clear instructions. These dead drop positions need(ed) to be found for all types of weapons, including nuclear weapons.

No one knows exactly how many weapons or what kinds are currently hidden on U.S. soil. At least no one American.


MS-13, Al-Qaeda, Spetsnaz, and Russian nuclear scientists

First, according to Al Qaeda documents and reports from captured leaders, we know that Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda have been in cahoots with members of Spetsnaz. Spetsnaz refers to Russian elite forces.

You see, Bin Laden is hoping to find some of the nuclear suitcase bombs that were hidden during the Cold War operations that Stanislave Lunev spoke of. Unfortunately, that's not the whole of it.

According to a WorldNetDaily.com story Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda, through the efforts noted above and otherwise, have obtained at least 40 nuclear weapons (again they cite captured Al Qaeda leaders and documents).

Further, the organization is currently paying nuclear scientists from Russia and Pakistan to help preserve their current weapons as well as to stockpile new ones.

The story gets even worse, unfortunately. Word is that Al Qaeda also hopes to produce their own nuclear weapons "with fissile material it purchased on the black market."

Well, there's no doubt that they plan on using these materials if the reports are true (and can anyone really argue that Bin Laden wouldn't at least attempt all of this?). Further, since Al Qaeda and its operatives view the United States as "The Great Satan," this can only mean that we are target number one.


The worst part of this? Al Qaeda appears to already have nukes in the country.

According to Paul L. Williams - a former FBI consultant - about one month after September 11th, President Bush was told that at least two suitcase nuclear bombs had reached their mark ( Al Qaeda operatives in the United States ).

In fact, Williams indicated that George Tenet (CIA Director) gave President Bush some very specific information about the bombs including their weight (50-80 kilograms) and the fact that they contained enough material to produce an explosive yield in excess of two kilotons.

This is scary.

Now, here's the problem. Word is that Al Qaeda was able to pass these two bombs (and possibly more at this point) through Mexico with the help of the MS-13 street gang. Unfortunately, as steamed as President Bush was to hear of the nuclear weapons supposedly getting into the country, he has not yet secured the border sufficiently enough to stop this.

The last thing? Just a small note. According to these Al Qaeda documents and leaders the nuclear bombs are being found, smuggled into the country, and stockpiled in order to set off an "American Hiroshima".

In other words- perhaps like the hit television show, Jericho - Al Qaeda terrorists hope to set off multiple nuclear weapons in the country simultaneously in major cities. The aftermath would of course be devastating.

In fact, according to Williams' book, The Al Qaeda Connection: International Terrorism, Organized Crime and the Coming Apocalypse, Al Qaeda's plan is to kill 4 million Americans, of which 2 million must be children in order to avenge crimes by Americans on the Muslim world.

Of course, we would no doubt return fire in a large way.

Taken together, if this doesn't frighten you then nothing will. You see, the threat of nuclear detonation in the United States is very real. Thus, sites like SecretsofSurvival.com are hardly out there just for fun reading.

Perhaps you should pay attention to what's being offered here; maybe even begin stockpiling needed materials and food today. Because there are people intent on doing Americans harm right now within the country.

We don't know when or how they will strike. Considering that we've been promised by Bin Laden that the next attack will make 9-11 pale in comparison, it might be smart to prepare for this.
