EXTREME WEATHER IN 2007-2008
|
Can't we blame Global Warming? No, because Global Warming doesn't cause earthquakes. In the month of August there have been more earthquakes in the first 16 days, than most all other months in recent years –
On August 7, 2007, CNN published, 2007: Year of Extreme Weather. You don't have to be a Christian to understand that weird things are going on in the world. But when you consider that Al-Qaida and other terrorist groups are planning to detonate one or more nuclear weapons in the United States -- which the former CIA director recently said could happen this summer or early fall -- hopefully this will get your attention and make you dust off that old Bible that's been sitting in your closet all these years.
Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, by dying on the cross, so that you would turn away from evil, and follow God's commands, and put your full faith in God. Christ did this to save you from the wrath that God warns throughout the Bible is going to come on to the world, as judgment on a wicked world of greed, and hate, and sexual immorality, and false religions.
Which describes the world we live in TODAY. We are living on a Biblical time-bomb. God could unleash judgment at any time, and catch a foolish, wicked world completely by surprise (which is what the Bible says will happen in the 'last days'). The wise, however, will be ready, because they know to keep watch.
Mark 13:35-37 - "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: 'Watch!'"
Christ is returning to earth 'like a thief in the night' to remove all faithful Christians and take them to Heaven (in an event known as 'the rapture'), and then God's wrath will start, as punishment on Christians of half-hearted faith, as punishment on God's churches for not staying true to the Bible, and as punishment on unbelievers who have rejected Christ.
Matthew 24:37-42 - "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come."

This isn't really an article. Rather, it's a compilation of the outrageous, record breaking weather we've been having.
It would be literally impossible to find all of the rare things that have happened on Earth in 2007 and 2008 when it comes to weather. However, chew on the links below before you start saying to yourself that all of this strange weather is simply going to blow over.
